Terms of Service
The short version: use Postlayer for your own content, follow each platform's rules, and keep your account safe.
Effective 7 November 2026
1. The service
Postlayer lets you connect your Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, YouTube channels, X accounts and LinkedIn profiles or pages, then write, schedule and publish posts to them through a web app and an API, and see how those posts perform. It is operated by PAULTECH, Romania ("we"). By creating an account or using the API you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your content and the platforms
You own what you post. You give us permission to store it, process it (for example resize media) and send it to the platforms you choose, only to provide the service. Each platform's own terms also apply to what you publish there, including the Meta Terms, the YouTube Terms of Service, the X Terms and the LinkedIn User Agreement. A platform may reject, limit or remove a post; we can't override that.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Postlayer to:
- send spam, run fake engagement, or publish repetitive or automated content that a platform does not allow;
- publish anything illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful or harassing;
- connect accounts you are not authorized to manage;
- get around a platform's rate limits, rules or enforcement, or our own limits;
- probe, overload or attack the service, or access other people's workspaces.
You are responsible for following each platform's rules and policies for the content you publish through us.
4. Your account
Keep your sign-in and API keys secret; anything done with them is treated as done by you. Tell us at [email protected] if you think one has been compromised. Workspace owners decide who else has access to their workspace.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep Postlayer running and posts going out on time, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Platforms change their APIs and permissions; features may change or stop working as a result. We may change the service and these terms; for material changes to the terms we will tell you in advance.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. In particular we don't guarantee that a post will be accepted or published by a platform, or at an exact time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, revenue, reach or data), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Ending
You can stop at any time: disconnect your accounts and delete your Postlayer account in Settings (see deleting your data). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or a platform's rules, or that put the service or other users at risk; where reasonable we will tell you first.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes go to the competent courts of Romania, without taking away any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.
